Tried & True: Ants on a Log

It’s simple and yummy … a child snack classic.  Ants on a Log.  This what Henry and I prepared for his lunch before his first day of (afternoon) kindergarten. (Honor wanted nothing to do with it … still being very much in her “[PB]jelly “sammich” phase).

Of course, we DID have to have a *little* extra fun, spelling his name out!

Hello! Popping in from Mom Loop Follow! Ants on a log are a great snack, my kids still love them from time to time. Anytime kids can interact with their food, they’ll be happier to actually eat it!!

  2. This is so cute! I wish I could get JDaniel to eat peanut butter. He wants nothing to do with it.

  3. This is adorable. And I have to say, I love your kids’ names!

Glad to have found your blog today from the Mom Loop. :)

JDaniel’s mom … Does he like cream cheese? Or spreadable cheese (like cheese-whiz)? Those work great for Ants on a Log too!
