Shadow Play, Day 4: William and the Magic Ring (a shadow casting book)

Our favorite book about shadows was given to us a couple of years ago from my best friend as a Christmas gift to my son.

It is a truly beautiful, magical book about a little boy, imagination, and shadows.  It is a shadow casting book, so as you read the book you use a flashlight (that actually comes with the book!) to cast the shadow illustrations on the wall.

My photos don’t do the book justice, but believe me, the book and shadows that are created are SO cool!  Do you have any favorite books for kids about shadows?  Please leave a comment with suggestions!!!

I’m playing the “What’s that Shadow?” game. My post includes books and science activities relating to shadows. I posted my Answer #2 on your previous post: Shadow Play Day 3. Thanks for inviting me to join in the fun and learning! http://tinyurl.com/6s9ls9n
