Must-have Board Books
Being the holiday season many parents (like myself, friends, and relatives) are searching for high-quality presents to give children. One of my favorite thing to give to children of any age are BOOKS. So, here’s my own list of Must-have Board Books for the very young:
- Pat the Bunny, by Dorothy Kunhardt
- Goodnight Moon, by Margaret Wise Brown
- The Runaway Bunny, by Margaret Wise Brown
- Big Red Barn, by Margaret Wise Brown
- A, You’re Adorable, by Martha Alexander
- Guess How Much I Love You, by Sam McBratney
- I Love You, Stinky Face, by Lisa McCourt
- On the Day You Were Born, by Debra Frasier
- I Love You Through and Through, by Bernadette Rossetti-Shustak
- Mother, May I?, by Grace Maccarone
- Goodnight, My Duckling, by Nancy Tafuri
- We’re Going On a Bear Hunt, by Michael Rosen & Helen Oxenbury
- Windows to Color, by Julie Aigner-Clark
- The Very Hungry Caterpillar, by Eric Carle
- Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See, by Bill Martin, Jr
- Chica Chica Boom Boom, by Bill Martin, Jr
- Peek-a-Who?, by Nina Laden
Other than all these books being timeless stories and wonderfully illustrated, they are perfect for bedtime snuggles. Who doesn’t want to end the day thinking about how much they are loved?!
