Look What Happens …
… when you put a bar of Ivory soap in the microwave!
It explodes!
This was SO much fun to do. And SO simple. Unwrap a bar of Ivory soap, place it on a plate, pop it in the microwave (we tested it out 10-15 seconds at a time, about 2 minutes total), and watch it expand and grow! I got the idea from a post by Mom of 2 Posh Divas.
A great sensory experiment … fun to watch, cool to feel, and nice to smell! My 5 year old son LOVED it … and I have to say, I got a kick out of it too!
