PlayDrMom’s Favorite Alphabet Books
If you haven’t gathered by now, I’m a HUGE fan of children’s books … and there are a lot of wonderful children’s books about the alphabet and learning the ABCs. I wanted to share a few of our favorites …
- Dr. Seuss’s ABC – the classic alphabet book
- A to Z, by Sandra Boynton
- Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, by Bill Martin, Jr & John Archambault
- Do Your ABC’s, Little Brown Bear, by Jonathan London
- Animal Alphabet (part of the Elmo’s Learning Adventure series)
- Alphabet Adventure, by Audrey and Bruce Wood (here’s an activity we did to go along with this book)
- Alphabet Rescue, by Audrey and Bruce Wood
and ANY of the alphabet books done by Sleeping Bear Press! We own and LOVE …
- M is for Mitten: A Michigan Alphabet (here’s an activity we did to go along with the book!)
- A is for America: An American Alphabet
- T is for Tutu: A Ballet Alphabet
- Z is for Zamboni: A Hockey Alphabet
What are YOUR favorites?
