Shamrock Sticker (resist) Painting
Since we had SO much fun with our other sticker resist projects (letters/message and Hearts), Honor & I decided we needed to do another one for St. Pat’s Day … a Shamrock Sticker (resist) Painting!
The regular round up of materials for our sticker resist painting projects … framed canvas, washable tempera paint, foam brush, and (of course) STICKERS!
After she adhered the stickers, …
… painted over them in green, …
waited for the paint to dry, and peeled off the stickers …
We decided that it needed a bit more color …
…and, LEAPING LEPRECHAUNS, a beautiful piece of St.Patrick’s Day art!We will definitely be continuing this series of sticker resist painting for the other holidays that come this year. In fact, I think it would be really fun to continue doing this every year with Honor. It would be amazing to see the progression throughout the years, as well as an amazing collection keepsake!
