Snowmen Thank-You Notes
‘Tis the Season … to make sure you send out your Thank-you notes! And having your kids take part is very important. Since my kids were old enough to scribble I made sure that they had a role in making and sending out thank you notes… getting them in the habit early on (just as my mom did for me!) Last year I created a letter template for Henry to fill out to show his appreciation.
This year, since Henry has become an excellent writer, I had Honor make the cards and Henry do the writing. He really did a wonderful job and got them all done before the first of the year!
Here’s how we made the cards …
We took a toilet paper tube and dipped the end into white paint. Honor then stamped 3 paint circles onto a piece of blue construction paper folded in half. We then used google eyes, markers, buttons, black construction paper hats, and toothpicks to transform the 3 circles into a snowman!
They did make great cards, but they could also be a fun craft project on their own!

I love the idea of instilling gratitude, and this is a great way to do it. How cute is that snowman? 🙂
These notes are too cute! I really need to set aside a day for my girls to make thank you cards, little snowmen would be perfect! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
What cute snowmen! I make my kids send thank you notes too; even though relatives always say it isn’t needed.
Oh these are adorable. I’ve pinned to the Sunday Showcase board and my own Snowman one. Thanks for linking up – it’s reminded me we still haven’t finished our thank yous!
