a simple wreath for the 4th of July
Just like keeping Food for the Fourth simple, I like to keep the decorations for Independence Day low-key too! I love creating ribbon and yarn wrapped wreaths because they are quick and easy to to and very easily adaptable for any season or color scheme.
For the 4th of July version I used a foam wreath and wrapped it with red ribbon with white stars. I then added the simple dollar store red-white-and-blue sparkly decoration by using a red tinsel pipe cleaner. I used a blue tinsel pipe cleaner for the top as the hanger. Done!
Sticking a few flags or patriotic pinwheels win potted plants or around the garden is another super easy thing I do to get in the spirit too!
