All About the Alphabet: Fun with learning letters

PlayDrMom rounds up a ton of alphabet activities for kids.

I believe very strongly that as parents we should help make learning fun for our kids.  Finding playful ways to learn the ABCs can be a really great start.  Here’s a round up of my own alphabet posts, as well as links to tons of letter learning fun!

alphabet adventure

An Alphabet Adventure.  This popular post is another alphabet round up on it’s own.  In it I include several activities to go along with Audrey and Bruce Wood’s book, “Alphabet Adventure” , such as letter match up activity, an alphabet scavenger hunt, and an alphabet sticker resist painting.

Alphabet Monster

My daughter really loves this one!  We created an Alphabet Monster out of an empty tissue box …. the monster tends to get really hungry and loves to know what letter he’s about to eat!

Fun Alphabet party for young kids ... great for lunch on the last day of school!

This is an annual event at the preschool my kids attend/ed.  Check it out to see all the fun food that the kids brought to share with their classmates … A to Z!
