Fairy Village Redux

Last year I posted on our lovely Fairy Village.  Due to our harsh winter I put the village away until spring.  When it was time to rebuild … we made some major improvements.

We started our Fairy Village Redux 2014 with some new buildings …

We upgraded the small marble stone pathway to larger path with slate stones.  I added soft moss around the area for “fairy grass”.  We also added a trellis … and OF COURSE we needed a welcome sign!

But that wasn’t quite enough.  We figured out that the fairies would probably want their own play area …

and a place to enjoy a meal outdoors.

Fairy Outdoor Eating

Fairies must have liked it, because a couple days after the reconstruction we found this note (and a bunch of fairy dust!)
