PlayDrMom turns One!

I can’t believe it’s been a year since I began this journey.  I really didn’t know what to expect … but I never could have imagined what has unfolded.

I have learned so many skills while creating the blog and growing it to where it is today.  I love the constant skill development that I gain from having a blog.  In the year I have:

Through being involved in the blogger world, I have made connections with people from all over the world.  This is another reason why I love blogging.  I love the support that I receive from these people, not only about blogging … but in being a creative, involved parent.  They have inspired me to expand my own creativity … to develop projects and play activities for my kids AND my clients.

I also deeply enjoy being able to share my ideas.  It’s a great feeling to be able to assist parents to play, create, and have better relationships with their kids.  Unlike conducting therapy where quantitative feedback is difficult to measure and qualitative feedback is few and far between, with blogging I receive more immediate feedback. Here are some of my most popular posts for over the past year (as determined through amount of pins on Pinterest):

I know that my connection with my kids and my blog feed off each other … both growing and being enriched because of the relationship between the two.  Most of all I believe blogging has made me a more conscious and innovative parent.

Thank you for being a part of my blogging journey and

Happy Birthday to PlayDrMom!
